Piglady is a 2023 American slasher film directed by Adam Fair and written by Fair and Lyon Mitchells. The cast includes Alex C. Montgomery, Ashley Spillers, and Jessica Sonneborn.

Piglady is a slasher film that is based on the true story of Susan Monica, a woman who murdered several farmhands and fed them to her pigs. The film follows a group of friends who go on a weekend trip to a cabin in Oregon, only to discover that they are being stalked and hunted by a mysterious figure known as the Piglady.

The film is a well-made, suspenseful slasher movie that does a good job of building tension and creating a sense of dread. The performances by the cast are also solid, and the film is visually appealing. The film’s setting is well-chosen, and the filmmakers do a good job of creating a sense of isolation and fright. In fact, the scene with killings are well-choreographed and bloody, and they will satisfy fans of the slasher genre.

The film’s plot is simple but effective, however, it does have some flaws because of some predictable.

During Piglady there were some parts that stood out, starting with the clever way that Susan’s face was hidden throughout the film, by using strategic plans. In this way, viewers increase their curiosity when trying to imagine the character’s face. Another interesting point is the fact that pigs appear in most scenes throughout the film allowing viewers to create their own conclusions about their presence.

The film’s ending is ambiguous, which will leave viewers guessing about what really happened.

There are several moments that will leave you glued to the screen to try to understand the unfolding of the story. Overall, Piglady is a well-made and suspenseful slasher film that is worth a watch for fans of the genre. The movie can be found on digital platforms — buckle up!
