Omaha, NE — Endless mouthwatering food, beer and wine, music, AND fire dancing was the exact atmosphere at Omaha Design Center celebrating the Best of Omaha Soiree.
The event was hosted by the Omaha Magazine. Every year businesses have the chance to be ranked as the best in Omaha, and Thursday night those winners were celebrated.
Omaha may not be the first place you think of when it comes to celebrities, but they sure know how to make their guest feel like one.
I had the pleasure of experiencing this event as a VIP guest. I must say, I was blown away. First of all, the food was AMAZING! They had anything from pulled pork sandwiches, chicken kabobs, Thai chicken meatballs, and even some of the BEST desert you would have ever tasted. Turtle pumpkin cheesecake cupcake?! uhmmm SIGN ME UP!
Some Best of Omaha food winners that were at this event were Jason’s Deli, Le Bouillon, Noli’s Pizzeria, The Omaha Bakery, Pettit’s Pastry, Ray’s Original Buffalo Wings, Scooter’s Coffee, and many more!
After eating some amazing food, and basically being stuck in a food coma, the night was just beginning.
Best of Omaha had OUTSTANDING entertainment. They had light dancers, jugglers, and even fire throwers! How cool, right?
The performers were hosted by Flowtricks Entertainment, along with OEAA-nominated DJ Shor-T. Thursday’s event was a great way to bring the community together, and celebrate some of the great things we have to offer here in Omaha.
It was filled with hundreds of winners, business owners, managers, and a supportive community.
Best of Omaha was an adult only experience, but who said adults couldn’t have a little fun?
I have never been to an event like this, but it made me appreciate Nebraska a little more. I couldn’t agree more with the companies that won Best of Omaha because it really was the best.
I’d say my favorite thing I ate was the Thai chicken meatball, along with the delicious turtle cheesecake cupcake!
The fire throwers made me speechless! I was so anxious and excited anytime they made a move! Such talented individuals were there.
Nebraska may not be a place you ever thought you’d want to visit, but our events will make you change your mind.
