Miami Swim Week was an incredible experience from start to finish. As soon as I arrived at the venue, I was welcomed by sponsor activations and tables filled with goodies from a variety of brands. Each sponsor had its own station where guests could sample products, take photos, and learn more about the companies involved. I was even treated to refreshing coconut water while exploring everything the event had to offer.
After making my way through the sponsor area, I headed to the red carpet where the energy was unmatched. Media outlets were conducting interviews, photographers were capturing every look, and attendees were getting their photos taken before the show. Inside the venue, guests had access to a full bar and food throughout the evening, creating a fun and social atmosphere. Once seated, I noticed that every seat was filled with gift bags and products from the event sponsors that attendees could take home.
When the runway show began, the excitement in the room instantly elevated. The models confidently walked down the runway showcasing a variety of swimwear collections, each with its own unique style and personality.
Out of all the brands featured, two stood out the most to me. My favorite was 12 Tribe. Their collection offered a great mix of bikinis and stylish cover-ups, and I loved their color palettes and overall aesthetic. Every look felt vibrant, effortless, and perfect for the Miami lifestyle.
My second favorite was AJA Swimwear, a newer brand that launched just three months ago and is already making waves at Miami Swim Week. I had the opportunity to interview the designer, Mar Anthony Pinedo, and ask about the inspiration behind the collection. He shared, “We wanted something that was sexy, timeless, and sophisticated—something you can be seasonless with.”
Overall, Miami Swim Week was an amazing experience, featuring beautiful designs, talented creators, and a very well-run show. I can’t wait to attend again.
