This weekend, it’s happening: the 2022 VMAs live from the Prudential Center! The list of pre-performers, award recipients, and headliners including Jack Harlow and Lizzo, continues to change and today the VMAs announced another duo of performers this weekend.

Snoop Dogg and Eminem, two rap icons, will be performing “From the D 2 The LBC” which also has the two well-known rappers nominated for “Best Hip Hop”, their first collaboration together in 20 years. Their performance is inspired by the world of the otherside metaverse in a partnership with Yuga Labs.

The two will also perform individually as well this weekend. In fact, Eminem hasn’t performed since he graced the stage back in 2010. The rapper is the VMAs’ second most nominated artist only behind Mondonna who has 69 nominations — Eminem has 60. Among those nominations, he has won 13 awards and just released a new album called “Curtain Call 2”.

The last time Snoop Dogg performed on the VMAs stage was 17 years ago. He is a 13x nominee who has three Moon Walking trophies under his belt including Best Rap Video in 1994 for Doggy Dogg World.

Tune in on Sunday at 8 p.m. EST to catch all these great performers such as Kane Brown and other award winners!
