San Diego International Film Festival unveils online series for its patrons

Are you a hardcore cinephile looking to quench your thirst during this quarantine? Do you crave for something outside the normal from what is being released in theaters? The San Diego International Film Festival has your back.

The esteemed film festival is currently offering its patrons and pass holders a special bonus, as they are streaming a selection from the 2019 Film Festival every week during the month of April. The first two weeks saw the festival stream the movie “Hawaii” and a series of short films that were audience favorites during the festival.

On April 15, they will be streaming the movie “Safe Inside”, a thriller about a young American couple who gets hired to work on an estate in France then discovers some dark secrets about the property and its owners.

The last three weeks will give patrons a second look at the following movies:

April 22: Film Insider Series Exclusive Screening

April 29: “Love In Kilnerry” – The elderly residents of a small remote town panic when the EPA announces mandatory changes to their chemical plant could cause a dramatic increase in sexual libido. The sheriff tries to maintain order and decency but mayhem ensues.

May 6: “Philophobia” – Philophobia is a picture of small-town adolescence. One the week of school remains for Kai, an aspiring writer, and his friends while they sit their final exams. How they chose to spend this time will cost one of them their life and leave each of them changed forever.

If you are interested in getting access to these exclusive screenings, it’s not too late become a patron or a pass holder.

By becoming a pass holder, you will also gain access to the 2020 Film Festival that is currently slated for October 13 through the 18th. Or, if you are just a passionate movie lover, you can make a minimum donation of $30 and receive the online series as a benefit.
