On Wednesday, Ohio State’s Urban Meyer was placed on paid administrative leave. Meyer claimed he didn’t know of any domestic violence from his former assistant coach, Zach Smith.

However, a report released yesterday contradicted what Meyer stated. The university has elected to open an investigation into the situation.

The latest development for Meyer is his temporary loss of a deal with Bob Evans Restaurant. The company released the following statement:

“At Bob Evans, we believe strongly in the family first values upon which the company was founded. Bob Evans Restaurants is suspending the current partnership with Urban Meyer and removing all related content pending the results of the official Ohio State University investigation.”
