Diana Taurasi has done it again. She climbed to the top of the WNBA list for all-time field-goals made, finally climbing to the number one spot on the charts. The 36-year-old beat out the former holder of the top position, Tina Thompson, and the new record sits at 2,631 made field-goals… for now.

Taurasi made history Thursday night in her team’s win over the Connecticut Sun 84-77, where she added a cool 25 points for the Phoenix Mercury.
The All-Star is already the WNBA’s All-time leading scorer and eclipsed 8,000 points in her career just a little over a month ago.
On top of that, earlier this week she was in headlines as this year’s NBA top draft pick Deandre Ayton stated he was “star-struck” after meeting the leader in the WNBA, also stating she was the “Michael Jordan” of the WNBA.
I don’t know what you’re doing at 36, but I think Diana Taurasi is setting a pretty good example of how to live your “best life” even as a veteran in the league.
This new ranking will go in her bag of many accolades throughout her career, along with being voted one of the Top 15 players of all time, winning four Olympic gold medals, three NCAA championships, and three WNBA championships.
