The Seattle Storm needed good WNBA news after their former franchise player, Breanna Stewart, left in free agency to join the New York Liberty. Well, it looks like fan favorite Sami Whitcomb is planning on returning to the Seattle Storm, multiple sources tell The Ball Out. She played for the Storm from 2017-2020. With her return, she will provide much-needed leadership and experience to Seattle.

Earlier today, former Phoenix Mercury guard Kia Nurse announced that she was also signing with the Storm. The addition of Kia Nurse is a solid signing for the Storm. Nurse has averaged 12 points per game throughout her career so far. She will bring great shooting and playmaking ability to Seattle.

Look for the Seattle Storm roster to continue to take shape over the coming days as a massive rebuild looks to be underway.
