After days of waiting for the Presidential election to be called, Democratic nominee Joe Biden has officially been named the President-elect. Despite not being in the White House yet, President-elect Biden has already started to make decisions and moves. Here is where you get your updates on what’s going on with the President-Elect’s transition, and the outgoing President: Donald Trump.

11/19/20

8 p.m. – A Georgia state law, requires an audit of election results. After days of work, the Secretary of State’s office confirmed, President-elect Joe Biden did win the state against Trump.  A lot of attention was put on the results in Georgia as it was neck-in-neck. In addition, the once red state has turned blue in a pivotal election.

Biden beat Trump by 12,284 votes in the official audit. Furthermore, the audit confirmed there was no widespread fraud or irregularities in the election.

11/11/20

8:50 p.m. – Biden named Ronald Klain as his White House Chief of Staff today.

“Ron has been invaluable to me over the many years that we have worked together, including as we rescued the American economy from one of the worst downturns in our history in 2009 and later overcame a daunting public health emergency in 2014,” the President-elect stated. “His deep, varied experience and capacity to work with people all across the political spectrum is precisely what I need in a White House chief of staff as we confront this moment of crisis and bring our country together again.”

11/10/20

5 p.m. – Despite projections and Biden being named the Presiden-elect, Trump has still refused to concede.

Today, Biden stated it is an “embarrassment” Trump has not conceded.

“I just think it’s an embarrassment, quite frankly. It will not help the president’s legacy. I think at the end of the day it will all come to fruition on Jan. 20.”

2 p.m. – President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris discuss the importance of the Affordable Care Act.

12:10 P.M. – In a stunning move, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo states that there will be a smooth transition to a “second term” for President Trump and not a transition to President-elect Joe Biden:
