Morgan Wallen is a rising country musician. But, as of today, he has been suspended indefinitely by his record label, Big Loud Records.
The suspension comes after a video surfaced showing Wallen saying the N-word and other explicit words as he returned home.

In a domino effect, streaming services and radio stations have pulled Wallen’s music. According to one report, iHeartMedia’s radio, SiriusXM, and Pandora have taken down his music.
CMT also released a statement after hearing of the racial slur Wallen used.
After learning of Morgan Wallen’s racial slur late last night, we are in the process of removing his appearances from all our platforms. We do not tolerate or condone words and actions that are in direct opposition to our core values that celebrate diversity, equity & inclusion.

Since the video has circulated, Wallen has been on record to apologize for his choice of words.
“I’m embarrassed and sorry. I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back. There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word. I promise to do better.”
