Some cities in the United States – like the capital Washington D.C. itself – have awakened in recent days with large murals with the slogan ‘Black Lives Matter’ painted in yellow on their streets. President Trump has spoken out against this idea, and some of his supporters are trying to boycott these murals.

In the city of Martínez, within the San Francisco metropolitan area, the authorities have intensified the search for a man and a woman who put black paint on the yellow mural on one of its streets. The Police itself has published the video where the two people are seen vandalizing the mural as well as a description of the vehicle used by both.

Members of the Martínez community had obtained a permit from the city council to be able to paint this mural on a street in the city center on July 4th. According to the police, once the mural was finished, a white man and woman came to the scene to finish off the mural.

The video shows both of them wearing a red pro-Donald Trump shirt. The woman begins to paint the mural in black with a roller, while the man speaks to those present while recording what is happening. The woman is heard saying that “that cannot be happening in her city” as well as asking the man to bring her another can of paint to continue with her job.

The man was not far behind while filming the woman, you could see him complaining and blaming the media for “inventing” everything that was happening. That the media is to blame for racism.

Although the police in Martinez were called, by the time they arrived, the vandals were no longer there. Therefore, the help of the neighbors is requested to find these two people who tried to vandalize and end this symbol.
