Transcendent phenom, Finley Chastain, commits to Tennessee

There’s not often a player viewed as transcendent in the eighth grade, but there’s always an exception. And that exception is the No. 1 player in 2027, Finley Chastain. Chastain, who has multiple Power 5 offers, has committed to Tennessee, per her Instagram.

This is a massive get for the Lady Vols, as Chastain is viewed as a game-changer. To give one an idea of how special she is, here is a recent evaluation of Chastain:

Her player comparison is Sue Bird plus 2 inches (yes, she’s already 5’11”).
