The 2020 Presidential Election is finally here. Keep up to date with the latest news as the final hours tick down between President Donald Trump and Democratic candidate, Joe Biden.

11/8/20

We expected today to be a slow day, but things have picked up recently. As everyone knows, Trump has been very defiant and has shown no signs of conceding the race to President-Elect Joe Biden. Now it’s being reported that Trump is planning on holding campaign-style rallies.

11/7/20

11:34 a.m.

CNN has announced, Joe Biden has been elected as the 46th President.

11/6/20

11:00 p.m.

Joe Biden addresses the nation:

1:30 p.m.

Joe Biden plans to address the nation later on tonight.

9:48 a.m.

CNN has reported that the Trump campaign has released a statement saying they will challenge the result of the election if it is called in Joe Biden’s favor.

Trump campaign general counsel Matt Morgan said “This election is not over. The false projection of Joe Biden as the winner is based on results in four states that are far from final.”

The statement continued by saying:

“Georgia is headed for a recount, where we are confident we will find ballots improperly harvested, and where President Trump will ultimately prevail. There were many irregularities in Pennsylvania, including having election officials prevent our volunteer legal observers from having meaningful access to vote counting locations. We prevailed in court on our challenge, but were deprived of valuable time and denied the transparency we are entitled to under state law. In Nevada, there appear to be thousands of individuals who improperly cast mail ballots. Finally, the President is on course to win Arizona outright, despite the irresponsible and erroneous ‘calling’ of the state for Biden by Fox News and the Associated Press.”

This is consistent with the reporting that has been coming out that Trump has no plans to concede the election.

9:37 a.m.

Joe Biden is projected to become the 46th President of the United States, according to Decision Desk HQ:

9:00 a.m.

Joe Biden has now taken the lead in Pennsylvania, something that we reported would happen yesterday. Also, Biden has now taken a slight lead in Georgia. Trump is seething this morning, according to multiple sources.

11/5/20

10:10 p.m.

CBS News finds out that President Trump doesn’t plan to concede even if Joe Biden claims victory after the votes are tallied:

8:30 p.m.

President Trump holds a press conference at the White House claiming that he is being cheated. Trump made a bunch of baseless accusations without any proof of such claims:

2:01 p.m.

Per the Biden campaign: “Vice President Biden underwent PCR testing for COVID-19 today and COVID-19 was not detected.”

10:30 a.m.

The Ball Out Sources: We are hearing that Biden is projected to overtake Trump in Pennsylvania once their mail-in ballots are fully counted. The numbers we are hearing is that Biden will end up with almost a 100,000 vote lead. Also, we are hearing Trump is livid by the developments in the past 24 hours.

10:27 a.m.

Last night, multiple cities where vote counting is happening encountered protestors supporting President Trump. In some cities, they were chanting, “Stop the vote”, and then in other cities, they were chanting “Stop the Vote”. As a matter of fact, Trump echoed that sentiment this morning:

10 a.m.

Governor Tom Wolf again reiterated the importance of counting every single vote in  Pennsylvania.

“Pennsylvania is going to count every vote and no amount of intimidation will stop our dedicated election officials in our municipalities. As a country and a commonwealth we must reject efforts to intimidate election workers and prevent votes from being counted. The planned attacks on our elections this morning are undemocratic and all elected officials must denounce them. Pennsylvania will be prepared to protect our election workers and our votes.”

11/4/20

10:41 p.m.

8 News Now Las Vegas reported that no additional results from the election would be reported on Wednesday, per Nevada Deputy Secretary of State for Elections, Wayne Thorley:

According to Thorley, election results will update one county at a time starting at 9 a.m. Thursday morning.

9:55 p.m.

President Trump has now filed a lawsuit in Georgia to get 53 votes thrown out. Also, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris spoke in Delaware:

“I am confident we will emerge victorious,” Biden said. Then, “It’ll be time for us to do what we’ve always done as Americans, to put the harsh rhetoric of the campaign behind it, to lower the temperature, to see each other again.”

4:30 p.m.

Breaking right now: Joe Biden is projected to win the state of Michigan. Also, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf condemns Trump’s lawsuit to stop the votes from being counted in Pennsylvania:

“Pennsylvania is going to count every vote and make sure that everyone has their voice heard. Pennsylvania is going to fight every single attempt to disenfranchise voters and continue to administer a free and fair election. Our election officials at the state and local level should be free to do their jobs without intimidation or attacks. These attempts to subvert the democratic process are disgraceful.

“In Philadelphia, officials are administering the election with the highest degree of transparency. There has been a livestream of the ballot-counting process available throughout the count, and all parties have canvass observers.

“Pennsylvania will fight every attempt to undermine the election. We will count every vote.”

1 p.m.

President Trump’s campaign manager says that they will file for a recount in Wisconsin.

11 a.m.

States that were leaning towards President Trump last night are not trending towards Joe Biden. Biden is now in the lead in Wisconsin and Michigan.

Both campaigns are watching Georgia as it’s a real possibility that it could go from red to blue. The main reason why that is the case is Stacey Abrams. Here she is giving a fiery speech is support of Joe Biden and Reverend Raphael Warnock.
