‘Mistyped’ racial slur leads to suspension of radio host

The Charlotte Hornets have suspended its radio host, John Focke, after he used a racial slur in a Tweet on Monday.

Focke was tweeting about the game between the Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz. Even though he did release a statement, and the tweet has been deleted from his page, it can be found circulation on the social media site.

The franchise also released a statement on Focke being suspended:

Focke just completed his first season broadcasting for the Hornets.
