Robert Trump, President Donald Trump’s younger brother, has been hospitalized in New York, the White House confirmed.

“I can confirm the report that the president’s brother is hospitalized,” Undersecretary of the Press Judd Deere stated to CNN. However, Deere did not give details of the reasons or the status of Robert. The news was previously reported by ABC News.
The White House also added President Trump would travel to New York to visit with Robert.

“I have a wonderful brother. We’ve had a great relationship for a long time, from day one,” President Trump stated in a report. “And he’s in the hospital right now, and hopefully he’ll be alright, but he is pretty — he’s having a bad time.”

The Daily Beast reported in June that Robert, who is 72 years old, spent at least 10 days in the neuroscience intensive care unit at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. At the time, reports only stated he was hospitalized “for a serious condition” for which no details were provided.
