Taylor Swift announced she will being voting for Democratic nominee Joe Biden and running mate Senator Kamala Harris. The music icon posted on her Instagram her support of Biden. The first picture on Swift’s post is part of a special issue V Magazine is publishing with the letter “V” to stand for vote. Following that photo, is a second picture with her holding a tray of cookies with “Biden Harris 2020” on them.

“Under their leadership, I believe America has a chance to start the healing process it so desperately needs,” Swift shared with V Magazine.

V Magazine currently is promoting the need for people to vote with its “The Thought Leaders” issues. In addition, besides Swift gracing the cover, there are 11 other public figures featured. Other well-known faces are Megan Rapinoe, Mariah Carey, and Jaden Smith.

“The change we need most is to elect a president who recognizes that people of color deserve to feel safe and represented, that women deserve the right to choose what happens to their bodies, and that the LGBTQIA+ community deserves to be acknowledged and included,” Swift shared in a sneak-peek of the interview.

In an appreciation Tweet, Biden thanked Swift for her support prior to the upcoming election.
