Today, I had the pleasure of visiting The Rockefeller in Hermosa Beach. As a local here in the South Bay, I was thrilled to share my experience at this beloved community staple!

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by their general manager, Kelly. Her vibrant personality and genuine enthusiasm made our entire lunch experience delightful.

Appetizers and Drinks: A Perfect Start

I always enjoy asking restaurant staff about their favorite dishes and go-to menu items. Today, since I had visited before, we wanted to discover the new additions to the menu. We kicked off our meal with the ‘Santa Fe Egg Rolls’ and ‘Truffle Fries.’ The egg rolls, a new addition, were bursting with flavor (try with their house buffalo sauce, you can thank me later!), while the truffle fries were a decadent treat, perfect for a truffle enthusiast like myself!

To complement our appetizers, we started with their ‘Raspberry Fizz,’ a light and refreshing drink topped with smooth egg white foam, and a ‘Mexican Revolution,’ a unique take on a watermelon margarita. Both beverages were ideal for a warm summer day, offering a perfect balance of refreshment and flavor.

The Rockefeller Hermosa Beach Menu Main Course Highlights: Tacos and More

For our main course, we decided on fish tacos, craving something light yet flavorful. We chose the beer-battered ‘Cabo Shrimp Tacos’ and ‘Seared Ahi Tacos,’ and both exceeded our expectations. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness, making it hard to choose a favorite.

For a healthier option, you can also have the ‘Cabo Shrimp Tacos’ sautéed. Alongside our meal, we enjoyed the Summer Spritzer, a refreshing tequila lemonade featuring the local Redondo Beach Roseade Spritzer. I love how The Rockefeller supports other local businesses, crafting unique cocktails with community-sourced products.

While everything we tried today was incredible, my favorite was the new ‘Santa Fe Egg Rolls’. I love the mix of the Mexican/Asian flavors! They were perfectly crispy on the outside and paired so well with their house buffalo and ranch. Definitely a must try for your next visit!

Originally from the east coast, I adore Southern California’s perfect weather, and today was no exception. The Rockefeller Hermosa Beach boasts huge windows that open wide, allowing a refreshing breeze to flow through the interior.

If you prefer outdoor seating, they have a spacious area right on the pier, perfect for enjoying the sun and sea air. Whether you’re looking for a fun spot for a ‘Bottomless Mimosa Brunch’ with friends, a charming date night, or a ‘$2 Tuesday Burger’ with the family, The Rockefeller Hermosa Beach is the ultimate destination for your next Hermosa Beach dining experience!
