WNBA star leaves young cancer patient speechless

Many people idolize professional athletes after falling in love with how they carry themselves on the court and how they play. Yet, at the end of the day, each of those athletes has a life off the court and that is where they make a huge impact on the community and their young fans. Lindsay Whalen, star of the Minnesota Lynx and new women’s basketball coach at the University of Minnesota, recently made one little girl’s day and reminded people everywhere why they play: to touch lives of others who look up to them.
