Isaiah Thomas is preparing to play for his sixth NBA team this season after signing with the Denver Nuggets in the summer. However, it didn’t take long for the 5-foot-9 inch point guard to let everyone know which destination wasn’t his favorite.
Thomas had some choice words when he described the city of Cleveland. While on Instagram live, he referred to the city as a “sh*thole” and could understand why LeBron James decided to leave his hometown for the second time.

The Cavaliers acquired Thomas from the Boston Celtics last summer in exchange for All-Star Kyrie Irving. Thomas averaged 14.7 points, 4.5 assists and 2.1 rebounds on 36.1 percent shooting in the 15 games that he played in Cleveland before being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in February.
Thomas would later apologize for his comments on Twitter:
I apologize for my choice of words about Cleveland. I was on my live playing around. They don’t show you everything for a reason smh. Right after that I clarified what I said…. All love to everybody who had love for me in Cleveland.

Thomas and the Nuggets travel to Cleveland to play against the Cavaliers on Nov. 1. Don’t expect a video tribute, Isaiah.
