Alleged suspect surrenders to local authorities

Jamichael Jones, the suspect who is accused of killing Atlanta rapper Trouble, turned himself in this morning to authorities.

Per reports, Jones’ mother encouraged him to surrender. He was wanted in the murder of Trouble, whose real name is Mariel Semonte Orr. Orr was killed on Sunday during a home invasion at 3:20 a.m. local time at the Lake St. James Apartments in Conyers, Georgia.
In a statement by Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office, Jones was arrested at 1 a.m. Tuesday in Clayton County “without incident”.

At this time, Jones has been charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, home invasion, and battery.

SUNDAY SHOOTING

On Sunday, June 5, Trouble was visiting an unnamed woman at her apartment where Jones was involved in a “domestic situation”. According to officials, the two men did not know each other. As the night went on, Jones allegedly broke into the woman’s home and started shooting. Trouble later died from his injuries after being hit with a bullet to his chest.
