Kenosha, WI — Two people were killed and a third person was wounded after the third night of protests in Kenosha. The city of Kenosha is still in unrest following the incident of an officer shooting Jacob Blake in the back seven times earlier this week, at point-blank range. The community has continued to hold protests.

The tragic incident occurred, according to the police, in a confrontation last night between protesters and an armed male who came out to protect properties.

The individual has been identified as a 17-year-old white male, Kyle Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse was arrested earlier today as the alleged perpetrator of the shooting. His image was recorded on videos carrying a rifle and shooting into the crowd. During one clip, Rittenhouse can be seen falling to the ground and still shooting.

According to CBS Chicago, Rittenhouse has been arrested for suspicion of first-degree intentional homicide
