Jarad Anthony Higgins, better known to the world as Juice Wrld, died Sunday morning after suffering a seizure at a private hangar at Midway Airport

According to a Chicago Fire Department spokesperson, paramedics were called to the hangar after Higgins’ private jet landed at the Midway Airport. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where reports stated Juice Wrld was still conscious while being transported by Chicago Fire. Reports later say that he was pronounced dead earlier that morning.

The spokesman, Larry Langford, stated Sunday he didn’t know what caused the 21-year-old to go into cardiac arrest. However, that an autopsy would be performed on Monday.

The autopsy showed that the young star had swallowed an excessive amount of painkillers in an attempt to hide them from authorities. Reports say the pilot had notified the police that the group that was with Haggins were armed. That is against the law in air travel.

As FAA and FBI agents awaited the arrival of the rap icon and his entourage, reports stated that in the time between the plane landing at the airport and the authorities wanting to conduct their search, Juice Wrld swallowed multiple Percocet pills.

It is now alleged that the pills could have had a contributing factor in the rapper’s death. Additional testing will be taken before determining the official cause of his passing.

70 pounds of marijuana were found in the luggage of the party that was with the star performer. The guns that were taken in the search were registered according to reports. A couple of the individuals in Juice Wrld’s company were arrested for gun possession. Yet, both men have already been released from jail.

Last year, Juice Wrld had signed a lucrative contract with major record label Interscope for a reported $3 million deal after his his EP “Juice Wrld 999” would put him on the map. In addition, his first huge hit came in the summer of 2018 as the hit song Lucid Dreams would land at No. 2 on the charts.

“Death Race for Love,”  which he released last spring, climbed to No. 1 on the album charts. “Goodbye & Good Riddance,” which was his debut LP, hit No. 7 on Billboard’s “Top 200” just four weeks after its release.

Higgins was named Apple Music’s newest “Up Next” artist and his star would only shine brighter this year, as the young Chicago based rapper toured Europe. Co-headlining with Nicki Minaj.

Higgins’ stage name was reportedly inspired by the late Tupac Shakur’s performance in the 1992 film, “Juice.”

He was certainly a gem for the young generation of hip hop fans. He will truly be missed.
