Cannes, France — Each September, the world of luxury yachting converges on the Côte d’Azur for one of the industry’s most anticipated events: the Cannes Yachting Festival. Held in the heart of Cannes, this celebration of elegance and innovation is more than just an exhibition — it’s an immersion into a lifestyle.
The Glamour and Prestige of Cannes Yachting Festival: A Celebration of Nautical Excellence
From the way people dress and present themselves, to the flavors of the cuisine and the hum of high-performance cars, every detail adds to the city’s aura of sophistication. For us, having the chance to step aboard these incredible ‘floating residences’ was nothing short of extraordinary.
Aboard the Singolare: Inside Tankoa’s 48-Meter Masterpiece of Customizable Luxury
Tokoa, San Lorenzo, Princess, Benetti, Ferretti, and so many more — these are just a few of the prestigious yacht companies present at this magnificent event. We had the incredible opportunity to step aboard the ‘Singolare’ superyacht by Tankoa Yachts — a privately owned vessel measuring 48 meters (148 feet), designed by Italian architect Giorgio M. Cassetta and featuring 6 bedrooms to host up to 12 guests.
This was the epitome of class. Built from an aluminium structure, it allows buyers to fully customize the interior to their taste. We toured the entire Singolare, including the labyrinth-like crew area, designed so staff can reach you whenever needed without disturbing your peace. Every detail had been carefully considered — from the full-beam master suite to floor-to-ceiling wine cellars, and even a wellness deck with a sauna and gym. It was truly everything one could dream of, and without a doubt, my personal favorite of the show.
VisionF’s Eleven: Redefining Luxury Through Sustainable Catamaran Design
Some people equate luxury with size, but sometimes simplicity can be just as powerful. Enter VisionF Yachts, a company dedicated to creating refined catamarans that balance elegance with practicality. Their latest model, Eleven, proves that less can still mean more. Measuring 25 meters (82 feet), it features 3 VIP cabins and a master suite, comfortably accommodating up to 8 guests.
The Evolution of Yachting: How Aluminum Construction is Revolutionizing Customization
Like the Singolare, it is built from aluminium, offering full customization of every detail. The sleek Turkish design blends comfort with style, making the boat feel larger than its dimensions suggest. And with sustainability in mind, Eleven incorporates solar panels on the roof and hybrid technology, allowing autonomous travel for up to 4,000 nautical miles.
The Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 wasn’t just another showcase of luxury — it was a statement. With over 700 yachts on display, more than 100 world premieres, and an increasing spotlight on sustainability and innovation, this edition reaffirmed Cannes as the opening act for the Mediterranean yachting season.
Sustainability Takes Center Stage: Green Innovations Shaping the Future of Luxury Yachting
Walking the docks, from the grand superyachts like Singolare to innovative catamarans like Eleven, it was clear that craftsmanship, detail, and the human experience remain at the heart of the festival. But there was also a shift: aluminium structures that allow complete personalization, hybrid propulsion systems, solar technology, and eco-conscious design are no longer niche extras — they are becoming essential.
Beyond Size and Spectacle: The New Metrics of Luxury in the 2025 Mediterranean Season

So, Cannes 2025 doesn’t just chronicle a weekend of glamour and grand designs. It marks a moment in which luxury yachting continues to evolve — combining heritage and prestige with innovation, personalization, and responsible choices. If there’s one thing this festival confirms, it’s that the future of yachting is not only about making bigger waves, but also about making a better impact.
