Nominations announced for upcoming WGA Awards

It’s that time of the year, the Writers Guild of America Awards nominations are here.  The nominations will highlight the screenwriting, television new media, news, radio/audio, and promotional writing for 2023.

A few surprise nominations included “Air,” “Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret,” and “Nyad”. While on the other hand, expected WGA nominations included the likes of Oscar-nominated screenplays “Barbie”, “The Holdovers”, “May December”, and “Killers of the Flower Moon”.

Members of the Writers Guild of America can start casting their ballots starting February 23 and must be concluded by March 8. Furthermore, the WGA Awards will be taking place on April 14 at the Hollywood Palladium (Los Angeles) and Edison Ballroom (New York City).
