A grand jury in Manhatten has indicted Allen Weisselberg and the Trump Organization. Weisselberg has served as the Organizations longtime finance chief.
According to CNBC’s report, the charges are expected to stay sealed until tomorrow (Thursday) when the organization and Weisselberg appear in court.
Furthermore, Weisselberg is expected to surrender tomorrow, and both the Trump Organization and Weisselberg will be arraigned tomorrow.
The charges coming for the organization are not expected to be a hard hit to Donald Trump himself. However, the indictments could potentially bring fines and legal problems to Trump’s company. Mr. Weisselberg and the Trump Organization will appear in court tomorrow to face the charges related to allegedly evading taxes on fringe benefits, the Wall Street Journal’s report stated. In fact, the Manhattan district attorney’s office and attorney general’s office in New York, have had an investigation for months.
They are being accused of illegally avoided paying taxes on a variety of perks including cars, apartments, and private school tuition.
