The American singer Tamar Braxton is being held in a Los Angeles hospital due to an alleged suicide attempt or a possible overdose.
A call to police reported an unconscious woman at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Los Angeles. Braxton’s boyfriend, David Adefeso, was the one who found the singer unconscious in the hotel room they both shared, per a report by E! News.
Adefeso called the police to report that his girlfriend was unconscious. For now, the current status. According to The Blast, the 43-year-old artist is still unconscious but in a stable condition.
Multiple reports, like the Blast, stated that the family issued the following words about the singer’s health, “Tamar has had a very tough and emotional day — more information will be coming in the next few days. Please pray for her.”
Braxton and Adefeso’t show– Coupled and Quarantined — was set to air on Thursday via Youtube. However, the channel did not move forward with the show due to her hospitalization. Instead, they shared a message to fans informing them Braxton wasn’t feeling well.
“Hello y’all, unfortunately your girl Tamar is under the weather today and not feeling well so we need to postpone today’s show (don’t worry it’s not COVID),” the message began. “We’re sad because we had a great show lined up for you today, but next week’s show is going to be even bigger and better.”
“So sorry for the inconvenience, we know many of you look forward to the show every week,” the statement continued. “We’ll make it up to you next week.”
