S’Mya Nichols visit

Nichols’ visit is going very, very good, multiple sources tell The Ball Out! Her orange meter is 🟠🟠🟠🟠🟠🟠🟠🟠🟠🟠!

We fully expect her to end up at Tennessee. Sources tell us that Nichols was scheduled to visit Oklahoma next weekend, but that’s not likely to happen anymore, sources tell us. Attached are a couple of pictures of her oh her official. This can’t be shared ANYWHERE!

Great question, Jessica. I’m not sure right now, it could be this week or next, but I’m about as close to 100% regarding her commitment. The Lady Vols orange meter went up some more today:

Good stuff Mike. Her knee is looking good as well. I was shocked to see her without a brace.

Nichols left Tennessee without committing, which I have to say that I’m somewhat surprised. Sources tell The Ball Out that she’s taking an official visit to Oklahoma in mid-September.

I tend to believe she is a near lock, Jessica. I tend to think the Oklahoma visit is more of a courtesy one, because based on what I know, it doesn’t make sense to me as I don’t believe she wants to go there at all.

Sources are telling us that S’Mya Nichols has made her decision or is in the process of making it. And we will always be honest; our gut tells us that she will pick Kansas over Tennessee. This is just a hunch and not sourced, but that’s what we believe now.

Is this because of the AAU connection? Why would someone want to play in a gym that doesn’t even get to 1/4 capacity for the women’s team? So frustrating

Yes, it’s because of the Missouri Phenom connection. If she chooses Kansas, that will be the reason why because it doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.
