Okay, so I’m going to elaborate on the disrespectful nature of Nichols to Tennessee.

MULTIPLE SOURCES tell The Ball Out that she was communicating with Tennessee even after she had her made her decision last Sunday. However, it gets worse. Nichols was at Kansas’ Midnight Madness this past Friday where she committed in person, but while she was at Midnight Madness, she was IN COMMUNICATION with the Tennessee coaching staff! I’ve attached a picture that a source sent to us that S’Mya showed them while at Kansas Midnight Madness.

Do you think she really wants or wanted to go to Tennessee and was just pressured to stay home?

Wants badly to go to Tennessee, but pressured badly to go to Kansas by the head of Missouri Phenom and a former assistant named Alonzo who is the head coach at Olathe HS in Kansas. Picture of both is attached.

Yes, it’s so sad 😞. What’s even worse is that by the time she realizes her mistake, she won’t have the chance to attend Tennessee. I know many of the kids that the Lady Vols are looking at for 2024, 2025 and Nochols won’t be good enough to transfer there.

I agree. Parents are also to blame in these situations! Your kid is obviously trying to go somewhere and you allow her to be pressured.

If TN gets the kids they r recruiting after this success she will not even be looked at. she is going to be a true fit in the Big 12 which is not going to be as strong without Oklahoma and Texas. Hope it works out for the kids and hope they make it to the tourney.

The communication piece is shady and i am sure it will take her off their list to ever be recruited if she goes into the portal.

Why do these AAU coaches push so hard for certain schools? Do they get some sort of kick back or support for their programs ?

So Mike, based on what I have seen in some of the other threads in this VIP exclusive section, Tennessee seems on track to have a huge recruiting haul for 2024 and 2025 correct?

Usually, it’s financial kickbacks. However, in this case, this was just about ego because Kansas can’t compete with Tennessee when it comes to NIL, brand exposure, etc.

Yes, they are back in it with Jaloni Cambridge (No. 1 in the country). 5-stars Blanca Thomas and Morgan Cheli are names to really watch and I believe Cheli could committ early. I wouldn’t be surprised if they got an early committ out of Leah Macy. Macy LOVES Tennessee and it’s her top school BY FAR! Other names to watch are Allie Ziebell and Imari Berry in 2024.
