Grammy winner Tori Kelly recovering
Earlier this week, Tori Kelly (Singer) was receiving treatment at Cedars-Seinai Medical Center. Kelly was out for dinner with friends when her heartbeat quicken and she eventually fainted. Once test were done at the medical center, Kelly learned she had blood clots around both her lungs and legs.
Kelly shared a handwritten note on Instagram this morning updating fans on her condition:
“Hi friends … as you may have heard, I’m dealing with some unexpected health challenges. It’s been a scary few days but i can feel your prayers & can’t stop thinking about you.”
Kelly confirmed her condition is improving, “I’m feeling stronger now & hopeful but unfortunately there are still some things to uncover.”
“I’m so grateful for the amazing doctors & nurses who have been looking after me.
“Of course i’m heartbroken about all of the things i had planned for this week of releasing my EP, but i know my health must come first,” she continued. “Until i see you again, i still want you to enjoy a project that represents the happy place i’ve been in the last few years. i won’t let this hurdle prevent the music from yours on friday!”
“I love you all so much & i am truly overwhelmed by all of the love & care i have received. thank you from the bottom of my heart!”
Tina Knowles-Lawson Files for divorce
After eight years of marriage, Tina Knowles-Lawson – mom of Beyonce – is divorcing her second husband, actor Richard Lawson.
Per reports, court documents cited irreconcilable differences and their separation was listed as of Tuesday this week. Knowles-Lawson, who is a fashion designer, as the courts to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support. In addition, she would also like her name to be restored as Celestine Knowles.
Ethan Slater’s ex-wife breaks silence
Lilly Jay, the estranged wife of Ethan Slater, isn’t familiar with the public attention being on her. Furthermore, it seems she found out about Slater dating Ethan Slater when the rest of the world did – just recently. The two have been married for four years and have a son together.
“I’m focused on my son and doing my best to navigate a spotlight I have never wanted or experienced before. I am asking for privacy and respect as an individual who is not in the entertainment industry and as a mom. I ask to be left alone to rebuild my life and raise the beautiful boy I gave birth to last year.”
According to reports, Slater and Jay have been separate for some time, and following the news of Slater in a new relationship, he has now proceeded to filing for divorce. In fact, Jay was “blindsided” by her ex’s relationship with Grande.
