Destinee Wells’ name has been buzzing in the women’s basketball world ever since she entered the transfer portal. Multiple sources tell The Ball Out that the ex-Belmont standout is visiting Tennessee today. Wells was recently ranked 10th in ESPN’s list of best transfers, a testament to her amazing abilities as a point guard.
The amount of improvement Wells displayed during her time at Belmont was remarkable; she increased her 3-point shooting from 30.5% as a sophomore to a career-high of 45.5% this season. On top of that, she averaged 19.5 points per game, too.
