Knee surgery to sideline Kierstan Bell for FGCU

Over the weekend, Florida Gulf Coast was able to win (beating Jacksonville State 66-44) without starting forward Kierstan Bell who was sidelined with an undisclosed injury. Today via her Facebook she announced she could be missing a lot of time due to the injury.

Bell stated she will undergo knee surgery on Wednesday to deal with her torn meniscus. Furthermore, she stated she “could be out for the next 4-6 weeks or 4 months.”

A few days ago, Bell announced she would be entering her name into the 2022 WNBA Draft.
