Dr. Dre’s business partner, Larry Chatman reported that Nicole Young, the estranged wife of the rapper, has stolen money from the business account. An embezzlement investigation has been open by the Los Angeles Police Department.
As reported by TMZ, Chatman is accusing Young of withdrawing hundreds of thousands of dollars from Dre’s business account. In the past few weeks, it is reported Chatman sent legal letters to Young’s attorneys about the alleged embezzlement.
It is reported her embezzlement is up to $385,029 from the bank account. According to the complaint, Dr. Dre used the missing money as well as his ongoing divorce with Nicole. Young’s attorney stated the alleged embezzlement is part of the divorce which is contentious. In addition, Young is stating she has a right to the money as her name is on the account.
In June, Nicole filed for divorce from the rapper after 24 years of marriage. The two have two adult-aged children and Young has stated she has received death threats because of her and Dr. Dre’s divorce.
