Tennessee will be going to visit 2024 G Bryanna Preston on Monday, sources tell The Ball Out. Also, they spoke with Jaloni Cambridge yesterday.

Here is a video of Preston:

Great news and knowing Jordan she will be working hard to get back not to miss a beat.
I wonder if they hold her out against Carson Newman as precautionary and then let her loose on the opening game. Also knowing Jordy she will try and get in that Carson Newman game lol

🤣🤣 She definitely will try to play, that’s for sure.

Multiple sources tell The Ball Out that Jordan Horston’s injury is a hyperextended knee, but it is not a serious injury. It is a day-to-day injury.

Could be or could not be, I’ve gotten the impression that both are on the table. When it’s the knee, you never really know until the MRI.

    Hearing knee, not severe, though.

Don’t want to speculate as I’m hearing conflicting potential diagnoses.

Hey Mike! Do you have any insight on other 2023 recruiting possibilities such as international players? I know that Kellie will always look at the portal at the end of the season but just checking in to see if you have any insight on other 2023 possibilities. Of course we don’t know if Jordan, Rickea, or Tamari will use their Covid year so that’s another interesting twist. Thanks!

    Hey Amanda,

I have not heard about any international kids. They did kick the tires with Laila Reynolds recently, a 5-star out of Maryland, but they were too late.

The covid year us quite interesting as I believe Tennessee fans might be in for a surprise 😉

That is all terrific news and knowing that Kellie and her staff are doing it the right way, makes me respect them that much more

Yes, they are. I expect them to do very well for 2024, 2025 and more. And with Nichols tearing her ACL a second time, she might not ever get back to what she was.

So Mike, based on what I have seen in some of the other threads in this VIP exclusive section, Tennessee seems on track to have a huge recruiting haul for 2024 and 2025 correct?

Yes, they are back in it with Jaloni Cambridge (No. 1 in the country). 5-stars Blanca Thomas and Morgan Cheli are names to really watch and I believe Cheli could committ early. I wouldn’t be surprised if they got an early committ out of Leah Macy. Macy LOVES Tennessee and it’s her top school BY FAR! Other names to watch are Allie Ziebell and Imari Berry in 2024.

Why do these AAU coaches push so hard for certain schools? Do they get some sort of kick back or support for their programs ?

Usually, it’s financial kickbacks. However, in this case, this was just about ego because Kansas can’t compete with Tennessee when it comes to NIL, brand exposure, etc.

I agree. Parents are also to blame in these situations! Your kid is obviously trying to go somewhere and you allow her to be pressured.
If TN gets the kids they r recruiting after this success she will not even be looked at. she is going to be a true fit in the Big 12 which is not going to be as strong without Oklahoma and Texas. Hope it works out for the kids and hope they make it to the tourney.
The communication piece is shady and i am sure it will take her off their list to ever be recruited if she goes into the portal.

Yes, she burned the bridge with Tennessee.
