A$AP Rocky arrested at LAX

Rapper A$AP Rocky (whose real name is Rakim Mayers) was detained this morning after landing in Los Angeles from his trip to Barbados with girlfriend Rihanna. As soon as he stepped off of the private jet, handcuffs were placed on the rapper for his involvement in an incident that took place in Nov. of 2021.

Since his arrest, a search warrant has been served on A$AP Rocky’s Los Angeles home. He has been under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department since the shooting incident. The victim stated A$AP Rocky approached him with a handgun while out on a walk where the rapper shot him three of four times. According to police reports, the victim believed one of those bullets grazed his left hand.
